The Waring Professional Blender model PBB looks good and is stable and simple to use. It has 2 settings and an easy to clean design. Overall there are numerous positive reviews for this blender that talk about how easily it crushes ice and makes smoothies and how cleaning the machine is a snap. However there were a few issues with the motor and blade assembly breaking, so quality may be an issue with this Waring blender. Waring does offer a 1 year warranty on the whole appliance and a 5 year warranty on the motor, so most of these issues will be taken care of promptly with a replacement product if you do happen to get a lemon. We recommend this blender but with reservations because of a few product quality issues. If you get a lemon, you get a lemon that can be replaced, but if you get a good one, it should last you for many years.

The Good

These Waring PBB models are all the same, just in different colors. PBB 201 is Quite White, PBB 204 is Chili Red, PBB 209 is Ebony, and PBB 212 is Retro Green.

Features

The Waring Professional Blender PBB features Waring's classic 40 oz cloverleaf designed jar which creates a better vortex for faster and more thorough blending. It has a professional quality 2 speed motor with a self cleaning blade assembly. The jar is marked in English and Metric measurements. The four color options are sure to match any kitchen design. The blender also features a tall, old fashioned type of design that looks very similar to some of the earlier versions of this blender that first came out in the 1930's. The cap pops off the lid and serves as a 1 ounce measurer and you can add additional ingredients while the blender is working. The blades do not separate from the glass jar.
