Waring PB201 2-Speed

I love my Waring Blender! My husband and I initially heard of this blender five years ago when we began registering for our wedding. We knew we needed a blender for those nice frozen margaritas we both enjoy but we had no idea what brand to ask for. The Waring Blender was recommended by a sales clerk at the home goods store we went to and with a leap and a prayer we heeded her advice. We are so glad we did!

I love my Red Chili colored blender that mixes with my kitchen décor perfectly. More importantly, this blender is fast and effective and makes perfectly blended drinks each and every time without taking us away from the action by the pool for too long. Our neighbors barely believe that we make the daiquiris when we excuse ourselves from the pool party for all of three minutes and return with fresh, frozen goodies for everyone.

I also love how the blades clean themselves. I for one would not entertain the idea of sticking my hand into the depths of a bladed chamber in an attempt to clean off a sticky, melted mess. Luckily, I don’t have to as once the blending is done my Waring Blender’s blades looks brand new.

On top of it all, it has a solid and durable construction that has lasted us well the past five years and I am sure it will continue to impress us for years to come.

The only cons I can identify about this product are that if we had not received it as a gift we probably would have overlooked it as it can be on the pricey side, relative to other products of its kind. Also, we are a little dismayed by the fact that it does not have a safety switch. We are confident that we can use it without incident but I do not believe I will be entrusting it into the hands of an unsupervised minor any time soon.
