You can't go wrong with the Waring Bar blender. It looks good with its stacked waterfall base design, and it comes in a variety of colors to suit your kitchen décor. It's simple to use with a flip switch on the front that goes from high speed to low speed to off. It offers 500 watts of power, which is strong for a blender in this price range (about $60). Most consumer reviews say that this blender handles ice very well, which makes it great for smoothies. It's also easy to clean and disassemble. This Waring blender comes with a 1 year warranty on the whole machine and a 5 year warranty on the engine. So if you do have any engine problems, you are covered.

Most importantly, there were very few reports of engine failures and breakdowns that seem to riddle cheaper blenders. Almost everyone seems to like and have good things to say about this Waring blender, and we highly recommend it. We think that you'll really enjoy having it as a new addition to your kitchen.

Check For the Best Deals

The Good

  • Strong engine - blends ice and harder ingredients well with 500 watts of power
  • Good quality - few reports of failures and breakages
  • Looks good - nice design and a lot of colors to choose from
  • 5 year warranty on the engine - a great bonus and not common for cheaper blenders
  • Good value - this blender is priced well and you get a good product for what you pay

The Bad

  • A glass jar would be nice - although the polycarbonate is strong, a glass jar just seems sturdier
  • Can't really load it up - although it is powerful the Waring Professional Bar blender can't really handle a big load like some of the more expensive and more powerful blenders.

Models

The Waring Bar blender comes in several model numbers. The only different between these models is the color.
