Oster Classic Beehive blender Model: 4096-009

I have been using Oster classic beehive blender for the past two years. After verifying all the leading brands of blenders available in the market I finally decided to buy this model which suited my budget and also I liked its design very much. It is very sleek and requires very little space in the kitchen and adds to the beauty of my kitchen.

This blender has a 500 watt motor and two speeds, one for smooth blending and the other pulse option for chopped food. The jar provided with the blender is a glass jar and it is dishwasher safe. The blades provided with the blender are made of stainless steel and it is very easy to remove and clean the blades.

I use it regularly for making frozen fruit smoothies, milk shakes and chopping vegetables. While making frozen fruit smoothies the best thing is that nothing sticks in the jar which usually happens with other blenders.

However, the most important thing I like about the blender is that it can crush ice in seconds which I was not able to do with my previous blender.

I have also got a very nice recipe booklet with the blender and I have made optimum use of the booklet to try out new items.

The only demerit of this blender is that it is very noisy and so I have to be very careful while using it when somebody is sleeping in the house. Also I have to handle the glass jar with care. But its pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Till now I have not faced any problem with this blender and I use it daily. I will definitely give it a five star rating by saying that the Oster blender is a full time help in the kitchen that we can always depend upon.

East or West Oster is the best.
