KitchenAid Blender - A Name That You Can Truly Trust

The KitchenAid blender certainly makes life easier around the kitchen. It is not only dependable but colorful. You can easily find a match for your kitchen design.

The history of the Kitchen Aid blender actually begins in 1908 when a man by the name of Herbert Johnston was watching a baker mix bread with an old iron spoon and thought to himself that there had to be a better and easier way to do it. Within seven years, he had developed a mixer that would hold 80 quarts.

It was such an amazing invention that the Navy purchased the mixers for their three new battleships. It was a great success, and Mr. Johnston introduced a smaller model for home use in 1919. An executive's wife was so impressed with the new appliance that she called it the best kitchen aid ever. With that statement the KitchenAid brand name was born. In the same year the KitchenAid blender was invented.

KitchenAid 5 Speed Blender Model KSB560

This KitchenAid 5 speed blender Model KSB560 has a seven cup pitcher. It has a high speed motor of nearly one horsepower which allows it to do its work in a fast and efficient manner. It is easy to use, and it is long lasting.

One thing customers appreciate about this model is the nine different color finishes that they can choose from. It is streamlined in shape so it takes up very little space on the counter. It is lighter weight than most other blender models. The base unit has four rubber feet on it which keeps it from vibrating and moving around when it is being used.

This particular model comes with an automatic crushed ice button. It cuts off by itself when the ice is crushed. It has the Intelli speed control which allows the motor to adjust the speed according to the thickness of the ingredients that are being processed. You never have to worry about food getting trapped in this specially designed model. The only disadvantage you find is that it is noisy.

Kitchen Aid ProLine Blender Model KPCB348PPM

The Kitchen Aid ProLine Blender Model KPCB348PPM 3 speed is a semi-professional model that can be used in homes or restaurants. It has a convenient six cup pitcher. Its powerful motor is capable of doing the most difficult kitchen tasks. It can puree vegetables for soups or mix frozen fruit drinks in less than 20 sec.

This blender uses tough Lexan glass for the jar, making it virtually unbreakable. The blade assembly is completely sealed and is permanently attached to the bottom of the jar. This allows the entire unit to be put into the dishwasher. Because it has no gasket, this blender is virtually leak free.

KitchenAid Bar Blender

The KitchenAid Bar Blender is made of Commercial Stainless Steel and has a one horsepower, high speed motor, making it capable of blending frozen drinks in less than 20 seconds. It comes with a stainless steel six cup pitcher. The stainless steel pitcher makes it one of the safest blenders on the market today.

It only has two settings: on and pulse. There is really no need for a lot of buttons that most people never use. When this blender is turned on, the motor starts out slowly so that it doesn't sling ingredients out of the jar and then picks up speed. The one piece jar assures that you won't encounter any leaks, and it makes it exceptionally easy to clean.

Kitchen Aid Blender KSB5

The KSB5 is another Kitchen Aid five speed blender with the Step Start and Pulse options. It comes with a five cup glass pitcher that is shorter and wider than most conventional blenders. This makes cleaning and scraping an easy task.

The Step Start option allows the motor to start off at a slow speed and then picks up to the speed that you have chosen. It does a very efficient job and keeps the ingredients inside of the jar at all times. This option is especially nice if you are working with liquids. There are several colors of base that you can choose from. It includes a recipe booklet with 75 recipes.

All four of this blender's blades are angled in different directions. This keeps food from becoming trapped in the bottom and allows the blender to totally liquefy all of the ingredients. It is easy to use and clean. It is one of the quieter blenders.

KitchenAid blender model KSB354

The KitchenAid blender model KSB354 comes in white or onyx black. It comes with a 0.7 horsepower motor that is strong enough to crush ice or frozen fruit and blend a delicious smoothie. It is for household use only and would not withstand the continual work in a restaurant. Its compact design makes it take up less counter space. It is considered to be a quiet blender.

There are two things that detract from this particular blender. The pitcher has no pouring spout, making it inconvenient to use when you need to pour. The other thing is that the base of the blender itself is pretty heavy. Overall, this is a suitable blender for home use.
