KitchenAid Blender Model KSB560OB
by Sweetu
I was already using a Philips blender which I thought was typical of most blenders. My aunt insisted upon using the KitchenAid the day she gave me. It was a polycarbonate jar 5-speed blender with intelli speed control buttons. It has stir, chop, mix, puree and liquefy buttons along with a pulse mode and crush ice button. The crush ice button crushes ice in seconds at varying intervals for optimal crushing efficiency. I was surprised to see the time it takes to puree and liquefy the ingredients in seconds. The jar is scratch resistant and can be easily cleaned. Being a workingwoman, I hardly spend time in the kitchen. So this blender is a boon to me. It crushes, purees, liquefies and blends very smoothly. I am happy that I do not have to change the blades for every type of work that the blender does. It has a universal blade that works perfectly fine. The fruits are crushed nicely and a perfect smoothie or juice is prepared in no time. The cord can be easily stacked underneath giving the kitchen a clean look and it takes up very little space. Another pro of this blender is that it is dishwasher safe so I sometimes put it in the dishwasher when I am in a hurry. Though lightweight it has a sturdy container. The blender blades are suited for the toughest grinding and take very little time to grind things. It’s been 3 years that I have been using the blender and there has not been a single glitch. The pros outshine the cons. Though expensive and a little noisy it is worth purchasing. I would give it a 5 rating and would like to recommend it to people who need to change their blender. It is worth paying the price for such a wonderful piece. |
