Health Master Blender by Montel Williams ReviewThe Health Master blender, endorsed by Montel Williams, is a powerful 1,100 watts and has many features that make it a good buy. The 100 year motor warranty can't be beat. GoBlendIt Editor's Rating: 3.5 out of 5.0 GoBlendit Editor's Review
We really like this blender based solely on its features, after all Montel Williams is a respectable guy and certainly very health conscious. The infomercial makes this machine look great, and the list of what it can do is really comprehensive. It can replace up to 20 different kitchen appliances, such as a coffee grinder, juicer, chopper, grater, ice cream maker, and meat grinder. The engine is powerful at 1,100 watts or nearly 2 horsepower, putting it up there with the Vitamix and Blendtec, but for about a third of the price. The container is also very large, 70 ounces, so that you can definitely feed the whole family. All of this sounds great, but when you start to read some of the owner reviews you can start to see that problems arise after just a couple of months. We've seen this before in other blenders. Things like container leaks, motor burn outs, and rusting. Normally we would say move on to one of the other blenders we've reviewed and give the Health Master blender about 2 stars. The difference here though lies in the warranty. Most blender problems occur in the engine. Health Master has a 100 year warranty on its engine. No other blender on the market offers this. It would be nice to see the 60 day warranty on other parts go to a year, but if the container is leaking, you'll generally know pretty soon. So because of all of the features the Health Master blender brings to the table, combined with the 100 year motor warranty, and the good price for a blender this strong, we're going to give it 3.5 and recommend it.
