A handheld blender is very convenient and easy to use for cooking preparation for a huge variety of items. If you own one, you will recognize its value to anyone from the amateur cook to the gourmet chef. This hand tool is smaller in size than the traditional blender and much more convenient to use for small jobs. Here are some tips to help you know how to use a hand blender to beat eggs.

The first step is quite simple. Take your eggs and crack them into a bowl one at a time. You may wish to use a larger bowl than necessary to reduce the chance of making a mess while mixing. Throw the egg shells away and take the time to carefully examine the contents of the bowl and remove any pieces of shell that may have fallen into the egg!

Attach the beaters to your blender and plug it in. Try to locate an outlet that will allow your power cord to stay out of the way while you are mixing.

Place the mixer into the bowl of eggs. You will want to hold it at an angle of at least 20 or 30 degrees.

Turn the mixer on and continue holding it at an angle. It will do all the work for you! The mixing process will usually only take about one minute. You may need to use a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl occasionally if you have a large number of eggs to beat; otherwise you will be done in a matter of seconds.

Once the eggs have been mixed well, turn the stick blender off and unplug it from the wall outlet. You can now remove the beaters from the hand piece of the mixer and clean them well before returning them to their proper place for storage.
