hamilton-beach-14-speed-blender

The Hamilton Beach 14 Speed blender is a good solid blender for about $40-50. It offers good engine power, 700 watts and features Hamilton Beach's patent pending blade design called Wave Action. The angle of the blades helps to pull the ingredients down and mix them more smoothly and consistently. The result is a silkier blend with less ice chunks. From the many consumer reviews, the Hamilton Beach 14 Speed blender Wave Action technology seems to live up to its advertising.

There are very few breakage reports on this blender and Hamilton Beach offers a 3 year warranty, which is really long for a blender in this price range. Overall this is a good blender from Hamilton Beach, and we are happy to give it 4 stars.

The Good

  • Good power - 700 watts is good for a blender at this price
  • Easy to clean - dishwasher safe
  • Good pitcher - a stable and sturdy glass jar
  • Blends smoothly - the Wave Action technology makes sure your smoothies are smooth

The Bad

  • Too many buttons - 14 different speeds are a lot, you'll probably only end up using a few

Models

The Hamilton Beach 14 Speed blender is only offered in two models. They both offer the same features. The Ensemble is black and the Wave Power Plus is white.

Features

The Hamilton Beach 14 Speed blender Ensemble model features 700 watts of power with stainless steel Ice Sabre blades for high performance. The design features Hamilton Beach's exclusive patent pending blending system called Wave Action technology. Wave Action continuously pulls the glass jar's ingredients down into the blades of the blender for smooth and consistent results. The goal is no leftover ice chunks and a commercial grade blended mix. It accomplishes this through the blade shape; 2 blades are bent upward, and 2 are bent down.

The Hamilton Beach Ensemble blender also has a sturdy 48 ounce glass jar, and it has an extra long 3 year warranty.
