A History of the Braun Company

The creativeness of Max Braun is responsible for the numerous products he has invented. The German inventor began his company in 1921 when his first inventions, such as a manufacturing belt device were developed. In 1925 Braun designed a machine that would mold radio receiver parts like turning knobs, dials, sockets and plugs. This led to him to create pioneering technology to fine tune a radio station.

By 1929 the company had four hundred employees and was manufacturing radios, turntables and speaker amplifiers. During WWII Braun factories were Nazi targets and Braun was placed under house arrest. Allies bombed his factories in 1944 and following the war, Braun had to rebuild most of them.

The first dry shaver and blender were hits for the Braun Company in the 1950s, and both the Multimix blender and shaver were patented. The Braun MultiMix blender was the first blender manufactured by the company. The Multimix blender was a functional item cherished by many housewives who prior to its introduction had to mix everything by hand. The blender was a handheld electric device that could quickly beat an egg or blend a cake in record time.

The Braun Company continues to produce and manufacture a hand held blender with many new and updated functions. The new Braun Multiquick Advantage is a two speed handheld blender with an inexpensive price range and excellent reviews. It is lightweight, easy to use, clean, and store. The blade is made of excellent stainless steel that is magnificent for the quick crushing of ice. The five speed capability with pulse cuts cooking time in half. The blender is very powerful and does an excellent job of making cooking preparation fun.
